Early Enrichment Center (2½ – 4 years)
We believe that all children deserve a program that provides a safe and nurturing environment. With a theme-based curriculum, each classroom promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families. The classes are developmentally appropriate for the children to explore and learn at their own pace. The children engage daily in academic, music, art, dramatic play, computers, physical education and outdoor play activities. The classrooms work in whole and small group settings.

Mommy & Me Gymnastics (18 months – 36 months)
This popular class is a great way to develop hand-eye coordination, balance and strengthen motor skills through the use of gymnastic exercises like climbing on soft equipment up ramps and being introduced to rolls and turns. Held in conjunction with the Richmond Gymnastics Center.

Tiny Tots Gymnastics  (3-5 year olds)
This exciting program introduces your toddlers to tumbling and gymnastics fun!  This class helps them learn special awareness and improving their physical abilities with balance beam, tumbling mats, ramps and more. Held in conjunction with the Richmond Gymnastics Center.

Creative Movement (2½ – 5 years)
This 45 minute class helps the development of basic motor skills and coordination using the techniques of Dance.  Includes basic dance steps, activities and role playing to develop musical awareness, coordination and self confidence. Presented by Dance with Me Dance Studio.

Baby & Me Group Swim Lessons (Infant - 2½ years) 
Introduce your child to water in our Parent & child instruction class this ½ hour class will promote comfort in water, balance, coordination, strength and water safety.  Your baby will learn the beginnings of basic aquatic skills such as appropriate arm and leg movements, breath holding, gliding and floating.

Looking to help members of our community?  The JCC Volunteer Link is the easiest way to get connected with great volunteer opportunities throughout the center!!!   Let the JCC find a great volunteer opportunity within our center that fits your personality and time schedule.   The JCC Volunteer Links mission is to connect high school aged students with meaningful volunteer opportunities, which already exist, in large variety, throughout our Center.

Club 1050
The Club 1050 afterschool program provides a safe and structured environment for all youngsters in grades k-8th during after school hours. The program provides transportation from Bayonne schools and select Jersey City schools to the Jewish Community Center. Our program is designed to care for your children after school and on days when schools close due to holidays or other occasions.  We provide homework guidance, sports, movie days, swimming, arts & crafts, music, etc. in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Max Lourie Teen Computer Lounge
      Announcing the opening of the Max Lourie Teen Computer Lounge! Max was the beloved Teen Director as well as the Head Counselor at Camp Kadimah at the BJCC from 1950 to 1963. He devoted his life to youth and believed wholeheartedly in their potential. In addition he was a math teacher at Bayonne High School most of his life. His students' and campers' successes were celebrated as if they were his own. Thus, it is so fitting that the Lourie Computer room is making it possible for today's Bayonne youth at the Center to develop skills necessary for success in the 21st century. Max, who would have been 100 years old on May 14th, passed away last year.
      The room has been dedicated in his memory with love and never ending thanks to the Bayonne JCC for being such a huge part of his life by his wife, Ruth S. Lourie, and his daughters, Greta Pineles and Rita Lourie-Galena.

"Be Smarter, Be Lingual!" at the BJCC         **NEW**     
Early Language education is a gift that lasts a lifetime. "Be Lingual's" program combines fine with real education. Interactive and full immersion approach. All teachers are experienced native speakers and most have a Masters in Education. We use fun activities such as movement, games, songs and puppets.

This very popular program is designed for players of all skill levels and is intended to give everyone a fun, safe and team oriented environment to learn and fine tune skills or just get a great workout while playing the game of soccer.

Tennis (ages 6 - 14)
This program is designed for players to learn the fundamental skills of tennis, grip, stance, forehand and back hand. Sneakers & racquet required. In partnership with Titan Tennis.

Youth Basketball (grades 1 – 8)
This programs focus is to teach children the game of basketball through fun, and help children develop good discipline and physical conditioning. Childs ability is not a factor in this program.

Gymnastics
Richmond Gymnastics are experts in the Pre-School Gymnastics field, and have trained preschoolers for the past 27 years. Classes for all age groups culminate with a gymnastic exhibition held at the BJCC. 
Pre-teams & team programs: USAG Level 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 are held Monday through Friday. 3 to 15 hours are required to become a team member.
Program philosophy: Our main objective is the further development of all our students as gymnasts.  Our recreational and team programs will allow students to gain self confidence, poise and pride in all they do, qualities that last a lifetime.

Youth Aquacize (Water Fitness)
Low to high intensity water exercise for youth ages 12 - 18.

This program is a private class that helps individual swimmers develop the skills they need to progress in their stages of swim.

Camp Kadimah
Camp provides the camper with an opportunity to be creative and develop a sense of responsibility through a fun-filled summer experience.  Campers are encouraged to learn new skills and develop talents through a wide range of activities and special events.  Daily activities include swim instruction, recreational swim, sports, music, arts & crafts, field trips, entertainment and special events.

Kiddie Kadimah Camp
Camp has everything your little one could want.  We make time to give all campers the personal attention they deserve.  Our goal is to foster self-esteem in every camper.  Our caring and professional staff encourages your child to create, explore, play and giggle.  Camp activities include sports, art & crafts, music, swim, trips, special events and entertainment.
